Description
Your students will love working on their initial sounds with these Easter egg puzzles. Students will need to match together uppercase letters to lowercase letters to images that start with that letter. This will be a great addition to your literacy activities and is a great way to add some Easter fun into your learning.
This activity is a big hit at Easter time to keep students engaged and focused throughout a busy period. This activity will support students with their initial letter/alphabet skills.
Each egg comes cracked into 3 pieces. One piece contains the lower case letter, one contains an upper case letter and the other contains an image starting with that letter.
This activity comes in 3 different printing options:
- B/w eggs and b/w Images
- B/w eggs col Images
Instructions
- Print out each of the individual puzzles.
- Cut out and laminate each of the 3 pieces for each puzzle.
- Lay the puzzle pieces out in your centers and have your students piece the puzzles together.
I would highly recommend laminating each of the individual egg halfs so that they will be stronger and longer lasting. This is a great time filler activity which you can lay out on a table for individuals or small groups to work on.
