What’s Included?
- 30 x sight word bingo cards. Meaning up to 30 players at once.
- Sight word flashcards / calling cards.
- Smiley faces to use to cover up words on the bingo board.
How to Use
- Print out the bingo boards. (Pages 3-17). Cut out and laminate.
- Print out the calling cards. (Pages 18-21). Cut out and laminate.
- Print out the bingo covers. (Page 22). Cut out and laminate.
- Hand out a bingo card to each student. Provide them with bingo covers or bingo dabbers to use to mark off the sight words as they are called out.
- Place your calling cards (sight word cards) into a bag and mix them up.
- Pick out the cards one at a time and call out the word. Pause, and then show the word after a few moments to give students a visual clue too.
- Students cover the words on their board as they are called out.
- When a student gets a full line covered on their board, call out ‘line’ and then they get a reward for this. (Bingo rewards are your choice, they could be as simple as a sticker).
- When a student covers their whole board, call out ‘bingo’ and then they get a reward for this. (Again, this can be a sticker.)
