Name Writing Practice | Editable Name Activities

Are you looking for fun ways for your students to work on their name practice skills? If so, this editable ‘My Name‘ flip book is perfect to use with your students as a hands-on craft activity.

How to Use

Download the product after purchasing.
Open with Adobe Acrobat DC. This is very important that you open it with Adobe Acrobat so that the editable formatting is correct.
On the first page, where it says ‘student name’ on the bottom of the page, delete this and type in your student’s name.
This name will then automatically fill in all the rest of the pages of the document.
Print pages 3-7. Cut up to the line on each page of the document and put together as a fun flip book. Print on different color pages for some extra bright fun.
On each page, students will work on their name in a different way.

If you want to make this reusable, simply laminate each of the pages and bind or staple together and have students complete with a dry-wipe pen.

What’s Included?

On the first page students can draw a picture of themselves or cut and stick a photo of themselves here.
Forming my name – students will follow the visual instructions to form the letters of their name.
Tracing my name – students will trace over their name.
Writing my name – students will use the 3 different prompts to practice writing their name.
Facts about my name – students will count and write how many letters are in their name and what the first letter of their name is.

Please note that you will need to open this PDF with Adobe Acrobat. This is so that all the formatting options were correctly i.e. correct fonts, spacing, sizes, formatting etc.

You only need to type student’s name into the box on the cover page and it will automatically fill in all of the pages in the document.
