Spelling CVC Words | Valentine’s Day Boom Cards
Are you looking for a digital CVC words resource to use with your students this Valentine’s Day? Do your students need to work on their spelling CVC words skills? If so, this Valentine’s Day themed Boom deck is perfect to use for distance learning.
How to Use
- Each page of the Boom deck contains a CVC image, 3 empty hearts and 3 hearts with letters on them.
- Students need to look at the image, listen to the sound, and then click and drag the letter hearts onto the empty hearts to spell the word. Students hit submit to check their answers.
- If their answer(s) are correct, students will receive a ‘bing‘ noise and be taken to the next question.
- If their answer(s) are wrong, it will say ‘incorrect answer’ and make a ‘whoops‘ noise and students can try again.
Students will love getting the instant feedback, and it’s a great way for your students to be able to correct their mistakes and check their answers.

How to Use

You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards).
