I am so excited to share my Christmas pudding biscuits for kids today. This is one of the easiest ‘cookery’ activities that you can do with your students this Christmas. It’s quick, easy, super affordable.. And has a bunch of great learning opportunities.
In this blog post I’m going to be sharing the instructions on how to make these Christmas pudding biscuits along with the ingredients needed.
Supplies Needed
- Apron
- Plain biscuits – I use digestives
- Icing sugar
- Water
- Chocolate
- Bowl
- Spoons
- Smarties
- Green gummies
- Apron
Instructions
- Break up a chocolate bar into individual pieces and place into a bowl.
- Place the bowl into the microwave to melt the chocolate.
- Mix the melted chocolate with a spoon to ensure it’s all melted.
- Use a spoon to spread melted chocolate on top of the biscuits.
- Place into the fridge to harden.
- Once hardened, pull the biscuits out of the fridge.
- Mix icing sugar and water together.
- Spread white icing on the top of the biscuits.
- Add small Smarties and 2 green gummies on top of the icing to turn it into a Christmas pudding.
- Place into the fridge to set and harden.
- Enjoy!
These are probably my favorite activity to do around Christmas time.
