This Halloween witch potions science experiment is going to be a huge hit with your students. In this blog post I’m sharing instructions of how you can also do this quick and easy set up science experiment.. Including the materials that you will need. This one is guaranteed to be a popular Halloween activity with your students.

Materials Needed
- Sugar.
- Mini cauldrons.
- Mini eyeballs.
- Pipettes.
- Food coloring.
- Baking soda.
- Vinegar.
- Tray.
I have also included these in a clickable shopping list for you at the bottom of this blog post to make it easier for you.
Instructions
- Pour a layer of sugar into your tray.
- Add mini cauldrons and eyeballs to the tray.
- Scoop a spoonful of baking soda into each of the cauldrons.
- Squeeze some food coloring on top of the baking soda in each cauldron.
- Students use pipettes or spoons to pour vinegar into the cauldrons.
- When the vinegar mixes with the baking soda, it will cause an explosion!
- As the ‘explosions’ happen and they overspill from the cauldron, the sugar will dye different colors.
