Materials Needed

  • Shamrock Template – Download for free from my Free Resource Library (link below)
  • White cardstock or printer paper
  • A small printed photo of your child
  • Green paint (various shades work well!)
  • A paper plate (for paint mixing)
  • An empty toilet paper roll (shaped into a shamrock leaf)
  • Glue or tape
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Markers, glitter, stickers, or any other decorations!

How to Make Your Shamrock Photo Craft

  • Download and print the free shamrock template from my Free Resource Library.
  • Cut out a small photo of your child and glue it in the center of the shamrock.
(OR you can add photos into the shamrock template as it comes in Keynote and PowerPoint options for you)
  • Take an empty toilet paper roll and pinch it in three spots to create a shamrock shape. This will serve as the perfect shamrock leaf! If you want, tape or staple one end to keep the shape in place.
  • Pour green paint onto a paper plate. I like to use different shades.
  • Dip the toilet paper roll shamrock stamp into the paint and press it onto the shamrock template.
  • Repeat using different shades of green for a layered effect.
